Whether you are a seasoned teacher or new to teaching, there is always something new to explore.

 We all aim to teach our young learners the English language. Constantly, we strive to enhance their vocabulary, improve their spelling and grammar skills. However, it is important to question if our students are familiar with the countries where the language originates from and its culture. For example, which islands are included in the British Isle? What is the Bonfire Night and the Gunpowder plot? Where is the river Thames? Which special days are mostly celebrated? How do people in the UK celebrate Halloween?

The webinar “Keep it simple” on October 13^th is centred around the English culture as well as autumn's festivities and it is designed to assist primary school teachers of English in planning engaging lessons and activities for their students.

Che tu sia un insegnante esperto o nuovo all'insegnamento, c'è sempre qualcosa di nuovo da imparare.

Il nostro obiettivo primario è quello di insegnare ai nostri giovani studenti la lingua inglese. Ci sforziamo costantemente di arricchire il loro vocabolario, migliorare le loro abilità ortografiche e grammaticali. Tuttavia, è importante chiedersi se i nostri studenti abbiano familiarità con i paesi da cui ha origine la lingua e con la sua relativa cultura. L’incontro formativo “Keep it simple” del 13 ottobre è incentrato proprio sulla cultura inglese e sulle festività autunnali ed è progettato per supportare gli/le insegnanti di inglese della scuola primaria nella pianificazione di lezioni e attività coinvolgenti per i loro studenti.

Il prossimo incontro formativi offre ai partecipanti l'opportunità di acquisire informazioni sulle risorse, sulle attività e sui materiali didattici appena pubblicati da Celtic Publishing che comprendono le tradizioni e le celebrazioni autunnali britanniche.
